The private-to-public pipeline is picking up speed.

Anthropic is moving closer to an IPO, Oura has filed for Nasdaq, and capital continues to pour into frontier AI and space infrastructure. The bigger signal: liquidity, scale, and public-market readiness are starting to converge across some of private tech’s most closely watched names.

Meanwhile, Goodfin is on the road. Starting with YC Summer 2026 Demo Day in San Francisco, followed by the 2026 QSBS Summit in Jackson Hole later this month. Two very different rooms, both close to where the next generation of private-market opportunities is taking shape. And looking ahead to Tech Week, sponsored by a16z, we’re bringing the community together again — first with founders and builders in San Francisco, then with leaders across AI, aerospace, defense, government, and venture in LA.

Plenty happening on both sides of the private-market table. Let’s go.

TL;DR

→ On the Calendar — Goodfin hits the road for YC Summer 2026 Demo Day, the 2026 QSBS Summit, and Tech Weeks.

→ In the Rearview — Our founders-first QSBS session with CapGains, plus an end-of-summer gathering with Goodfin members in NYC.

→ From Goodfin AI — Anthropic’s IPO moves closer, Oura files for Nasdaq after $1.09B in pre-IPO liquidity, Pixxel raises India’s largest-ever space-tech round, and OpenAI pushes frontier-model pricing higher.

→ Member Poll—Which part of infrastructure strategy gives you the most investor conviction?

ON THE ROAD

Sep 10 - YC Summer 2026 Demo Day in San Francisco

The Summer 2026 batch takes center stage. 236 startups with industrials nearly doubled to ~24% of the batch from Spring. Think floating data centers. Semiconductors. Satellite networks. Next gen infrastructure. If you’re attending, let us know. We’d love to connect and share notes.

Sep 23-25 - QSBS Summit in Jackson Hole

We’re headed to Wyoming for the 2026 QSBS Summit, bringing together founders, investors, advisors, and practitioners focused on getting more out of Qualified Small Business Stock. We look forward to conversations around advanced QSBS planning, founder strategies, deal structuring, and navigating liquidity without losing the benefit.

ON THE CALENDAR: TECH WEEK BY a16z

[SF] CRACKED: Fireside chat & AMA for founders & builders
October 8 | 8:30am PT | San Francisco | SF Tech Week

Goodfin and Viraj Ala, Silicon Valley’s Chief Cracked Officer, are bringing a curated group of founders and builders together for a candid fireside chat and AMA with a special guest. Come for the alpha, stay for the network, and leave with a special founder package of a QSBS diagnostic and founder content session with Viraj Ala Media. Limited capacity. Request to join today.

[LA] Mission Critical: AI Meets Aerospace & Defense
Oct 14 | 3:30–7:30 PM PT | El Segundo | LA Tech Week

Goodfin is partnering with AI LA and SpaceWERX to convene leaders across AI, aerospace, defense, government and venture to dig into how AI moves from prototype to deployment in mission-critical systems. The stage is being set for conversations around autonomy, advanced manufacturing, government procurement, dual-use tech and the capital behind the sector. Join us to access the inner workings of what it takes to build next gen infrastructure.

IN THE REARVIEW

Goodfin Yacht Party in the Hamptons

We brought together 40 family offices and principals in the Hamptons for an evening of connection and conversation. From late-stage venture and early stage bets to the two-hat balance of personal conviction with the family's mandate, we covered the bases of what it means to support family offices with next gen wealth planning and maximization.

Conversation is only the opening. What follows is the work we deeply care about: understanding each family's mandate, connecting them to the primary opportunities and funds that fit, and being the people they call when a decision matters.

QSBS for Founders: Keep More of What You Build

Goodfin and CapGains unpacked QSBS for founders and their early stakeholders. The throughline was simple: QSBS can save founders, their teams, and their earliest investors millions at exit — but many startups quietly forfeit eligibility through avoidable structuring mistakes. We walked through how Goodfin verifies Section 1202 eligibility before investing and monitors it throughout the hold, in partnership with CapGains and QSBS Expert Law — the "verified, not assumed" approach at the core of the Goodfin QSBS Fund.

For those who missed it or would like a refresher, a recording is now available on the Goodfin platform. For those ready to explore QSBS eligibility, get started here: app.goodfin.com/founder.

After Hours: End of Summer at Sisley Paris

Goodfin members gathered at Sisley Paris in New York City to close out the summer over cocktails, treatments, and conversation. A chance to step away from the screens and spend an evening connecting with fellow members in person. Thank you to everyone who joined us — and to the wonderful team at Sisley Paris for hosting and their partnership.

FROM GOODFIN’S AI AGENT

The signal that matters surfaced for you. Here's what our AI pulled from the noise this week:

1. Anthropic moves from speculation to execution — filing could come next week. Reporting on September 7 puts Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs close to lead roles on a listing some investors are modeling near $2 trillion, with marketing to begin mid-October at the earliest. Underwriters getting named is a harder signal than valuation chatter — the timeline is compressing in real time. When it prices, private markets get their first public comparable for a frontier-AI company. Read More

2. Oura's early investors took $1.09B off the table before the public gets a look. The smart-ring maker filed for Nasdaq on September 3 with $1.21B of revenue over nine months, up 74%, and net income of $60.8M. The headline $924.3M "loss" is an accounting artifact — holders from seed through Series C-1 sold $1.09B of preferred back to the company, retiring roughly 17% of those shares. Pre-IPO liquidity is no longer something you wait for a listing to access. Just read who's selling into it. Read More

3. Pixxel raises $100M — the largest space-tech round ever closed in India. Temasek and Seraphim Space co-led the Series C, taking the Bengaluru- and LA-based company to $195M raised, with six hyperspectral satellites already in orbit. The capital funds more satellites, its Aurora software layer, and manufacturing in both India and the US. Sovereign Earth-observation demand is the thread — the same pull that took K2 Space from $3B to $6.8B in seven months. Read More

4.OpenAI ships its most powerful model — and raises prices 2.5x. GPT-6 Astra started rolling out September 3, reaching paid ChatGPT tiers, the API and AWS through the week. API pricing jumped to $10 per million input tokens and $50 output, up from $4 and $20 — and it's the first model OpenAI has rated "Critical" for cybersecurity under its own safety framework. Frontier pricing going up, not down, cuts against the idea that these models are commoditizing. It's also the private comp Anthropic will be priced against next month. Read More

MEMBER POLL

Vote and you're automatically entered to win exclusive Goodfin merch. We'll randomly select voters and send you something special.

We asked in Vol #21: Anthropic’s $9.1B deal with Riot secures 191 MW of capacity for the next 20 years. Which part of its infrastructure strategy gives you the most investor conviction?

Decisive: The read was unanimous.

100% — Secured capacity. Compute is ready when demand arrives.

Not one vote split toward power, partners, or capital efficiency. Members aren't weighing the pieces against each other — they see one story: Anthropic locked in supply through 2048 before the demand curve caught up.

That's the whole thesis in a single line. In a market where the constraint isn't models but megawatts, having capacity contracted and staged — 96 MW live by end of 2027, full buildout by mid-2028 — is the moat. Everything else is downstream of that.
